Origin of the Miracle
The Miracle of Fatima originated from the apparitions where the Lady promised to reveal her identity and intentions in subsequent visits. She also promised a miracle on her final visit, which was witnessed by thousands and is known as the “Miracle of the Sun.”
First Apparition
On May 13, 1917, three children, Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta, witnessed a beautiful Lady dressed in white, brighter than the sun, at the Cova da Iria. The Lady, who identified herself as being from Heaven, asked the children to return for six consecutive months on the 13th day at the same hour.
The Seven Fatima Prayers
The two prayers taught by the Angel
“My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love Thee. I ask pardon for all those who do not believe in Thee, do not adore Thee, do not hope in Thee, do not love Thee.”
“Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly, and I offer Thee
the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of the same Son Jesus Christ, present in
the Tabernacles of the world, in reparation for all the sacrileges, outrages and indifferences by which He Himself is offended. And by the ininite merits of His Most Sacred Heart, and through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners.”
The three prayers taught by Our Lady
“O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee; my God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament.”

“O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners and in reparation for sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer this sacriice to Thee.”
The two prayers taught by Our Lord
