Week 4 — The Candle of Love (Advent) — Daily Reflections & Prayers
Week 4 — The Candle of Love
In this final week of Advent we light the Candle of Love — the angel’s candle — and prepare to receive the greatest gift: God’s love made flesh. Love draws near in humble ways; it asks for hearts wide enough to receive and hands ready to serve.
Reflection Tip: Let your prayers become acts of love this week — a call to forgive, to give, and to welcome Christ into the everyday moments of life.
Day 22 — Love Incarnate
Reflection: God’s love is not abstract — it is personal and embodied. The Incarnation reveals a God who chooses to be with us, to share our joys and pains. Love takes form and stays.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, teach me to recognize Your presence in the ordinary; let me welcome You as love that dwells among us. Amen.

Reflection: Love bears with faults and mends what is broken. Forgiveness reveals the generous heart of God and frees us to love more fully. This week, consider a relationship that needs a step toward reconciliation.
Prayer: Lord, soften my heart to forgive and to be forgiven; heal what is wounded and bind us together in Your love. Amen.

Reflection: God’s gift to the world is a giving heart. As we prepare for Christmas, let our hands be generous and our tables open. Giving becomes love made visible in small offerings shared with others.
Prayer: Lord, shape my hands to give like You — with humility and joy, that others may know Your loving presence. Amen.
Light a Candle for Generous LoveDay 25 — Love Arrives
Reflection: On this night, love is born among us. The waiting ends in the manger, where God’s love is small, vulnerable, and profoundly present. Let our hearts be cradles of welcome for this sacred Gift.
Prayer: God-with-us, come. Fill our homes and hearts with Your humble love; teach us to cradle and protect this gift in our daily lives. Amen.
